  5. Henry Charles Bukowski was a German-born American poet, novelist and short story writer. This three-toed sloth was also named Bukowski, but it mostly just hung around and ate leaves.

  6. Amanda in her happy place. She’ll probably be mad I posted this.

  7. Kinkachoos are nocturnal fruit eating animals with long, strong tails. It’s terrifying when one jumps on your back while taking pictures.

  8. Make sure you close your door at night, otherwise, these lil guys will be scampering under your bed.

  9. This Keel-billed Toucan was the most beautiful bird I saw during my trip. It also bit me several times.

  10. This is a two-toed sloth which is about to be released into the wild. Please do not disturb.

  12. This is a baby howler monkey named Filluco (or maybe it’s Philuco or Fillooko). He did jump on me and try to use my head as a bathroom.
